I currently work for Nuance Communications in Burlington MA. Prior to Nuance I spent a couple of years bouncing around startups: VoiceSignal, Avalere and Kubi Software Before that it was IBM and Iris Associates working on Notes and the a dead product called Workplace. Going back to the dark ages, I spent my first 13 years at a small company that you've probably never heard of but that's still chugging along today, Alpha Software Corp.

My primary professional interests lie in the areas of language design, automation, simplification, communication and team work. At home I like to read, write, cook, watch weird movies and sports, smoke cigars, explore the world of beers and and hang with friends and family.
